Onur Arslan

Onur Arslan has been an attorney since 2009 and specializes in business law, employment law, insurance law, and liability law (in particular personal injury cases).

He has received a broad legal education and has completed several (master's) degrees in the Netherlands (Erasmus University Rotterdam) and the United States (Georgetown University and Washington College of Law).

In addition, he has completed various (specialisation) courses, including the post-doctoral Grotius/INSOLAD specialisation course in Insolvency Law and the Grotius/LSA specialisation course in Personal Injury.

Onur is, in addition to being a lawyer, also a NIVRE Register Expert in the field of personal injury.

Furthermore, he was affiliated as a PhD researcher with Leiden University, KU Leuven (Belgium), and Fordham University in New York.

Prior to the establishment of Arslan & Arslan Advocaten, Onur gained years of experience as an attorney and trustee at HVG in Amsterdam and Donahue & Partners in New York.

Onur has registered the following principal (and sub-) areas of law in the register of areas of law of the Netherlands Bar Association:

By virtue of this registration, he is required to obtain ten training points each calendar year, in accordance with the standards of the Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten, in each registered principal legal practice area.
