Melanie Schulpen

Melanie has been working at Arslan & Arslan Advocaten as an attorney since 2017. Prior to that, she worked at the Gerechtshof ’s-Hertogenbosch, Criminal Law Division.

Melanie completed her master's degree at Tilburg University. In addition, Melanie successfully completed a specialization program at the Willem Pompe Institute for Criminal Law Sciences.

Melanie is therefore truly specialized in criminal law and has extensive experience in all kinds of different criminal cases. In addition, Melanie represents juvenile suspects.

Melanie is also a member of the Nederlandse Vereniging van Strafrechtadvocaten.

In addition to criminal law, Melanie specializes in administrative law. In that context, she represents clients in cases against municipalities, the UWV, and Justis. Do you have problems with your VOG? Then Melanie will leave no stone unturned for you, so that you still obtain your VOG.

Melanie has registered the following main (and sub) areas of law in the register of areas of law of the Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten:

• Criminal Law (and Juvenile Criminal Law)

By virtue of this registration, she is required to obtain ten training points each calendar year, in accordance with the standards of the Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten, in each registered main legal field.
