Leyla Akkanat

Since 2018, Leyla has been working at Arslan & Arslan Advocaten. As a lawyer, she has specialised in liability law (in particular personal injury cases), employment law and tenancy law.

Leyla has completed her bachelor's degree in Dutch Law and her master's degree in Private Law at Utrecht University.

Even during her studies, Leyla gained experience in, among other things, contract law and lease law. Leyla worked for some time as an in-house counsel at a real estate manager, where she dealt with legal issues in the field of lease law, contract law, and liability law.

Leyla is driven, reliable, clear in her communication and likes to think along with her clients.

Leyla has registered the following principal (and sub) areas of law in the register of areas of law of the Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten:

• Personal Injury
• Employment Law
• Tenancy Law

By virtue of this registration, she is required to obtain ten training points each calendar year, in accordance with the standards of the Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten, in each registered main legal field.
